So ..we are now on a six month plan for buying a house..It may take a little bit longer or little less than six months but we at least have a plan! Monday I had another root canal..That makes a grand total of 5!! My teeth are so bad!! But I love my new dentist...He is Seventh Day Adventist and I have found that all the doctors that I truly love are Christian! My O.B. was also Seventh Day and I absolutley LOVE him...So now I just need to find a good general doc and I will be super happy! Tomorrow I am hosting a going away party for my daughter's best friend! She is only moving ten miles away but she is changing schools..I went on a field trip with Alexis' class and I can't believe some of the behavior of the 5th graders! What the heck are they thinking..They learned absolutely nothing from the trip at all...They were too concerned about the emotional state of their friends. I don't know how my mother in law(Marcia) teaches these hormone filled monsters. Over the last couple of weeks I have learned 5th grade girls can be down right MEAN..I am sad to say that Alexis got caught up in all the drama too..After a long long scolding conversation on ethics and moral convictions I think she has learned a valuable lesson. I talked to her about choices of friends as well..I am glad that she has a conscience and apologized for her appalling behavior...She needs to learn to assert herself and stick up for girls that are being hurt by her "friends"...She used to be a little more outspoken but even her teacher said (on her report card) "In class discussions Alexis often keeps her ideas to herself. Although being introspective is fine, I would like to see her share more. She is such a bright and kind student and her insights could benefit us all"...On that note she got 5 A's and 2 B+ Yeah!! She improved her Math grade to an A!!!!! WOOO HOOO..She still needs to bring her science grade up from that B+ but she is well on her way! Cole is doing phenomenal as well!! All 3's this time!!!
He is still working on multiplication facts but he is doing an awesome job!! Hunter is reading a few small word like sat, no, mom, dad, and mat...This just happened this week!! He is grasping the concept of blending sounds together to form words..every night he writes random letters and asks me if they spell any words...He still has a hard time recognizing a few consonants and has a difficulty in remembering the different sounds some of the vowels make but I think he will be prepared to start kindergarten in the fall.. Dave is working in San Fransisco 10 hr days 6 days a week for a couple of weeks..I hope that Saturday's stop soon since Alexis just stared softball and Cole wrestling..I need that second parent to help me cart them around! I am still working at the pre-school..It has been a whole year already!! I have only taken one class but I got an A..It is too hard to take classes when Dave works so much out of town so next semester I will take an online class..My brother's baby Savannah Irene Lujan is due at the end of this month and I am throwing her shower on the 15th..I am excited!! This year so far God has blessed Blake and Becca with a beautiful little girl on Valentine's day and Our best friends Mike and Martha just had their first little girl on leap day!! Her name is Kayleigh Addison..I haven't seen her yet but we were planning on seeing her on Sunday but Hunter and I have real bad colds do we will have to wait till next weekend..Anyway that is our Henry family update..Sadly my new camera broke while we were in Tahoe..I have to wait for a new one..It was still under warranty so it shouldn't take too long to replace it.. But the upside is that Dave now has an IPhone so I can post pictures from that..

Test results

So......I got some test results back and they didn't see anything..everything looks normal!...so my doctor thinks it was a kidney stone that passed...The pain is nearly all gone!! Yay! so I guess my prayers were answered!! I have one more test on friday the 14th ...I won't get the results until after christmas...so more prayers for that test please.....It is mamogram..Yuck...the DR. found a lump that she really thinks is a cyst..but is going to have it checked out anyway...I am sure she is right but it is hard not to worry. On a happy note....I ordered a bunch of stuff from Target.com for our Cancun trip and most of it got here today!! We leave on the 16 and arrive home on the 23...Just in time for Christmas!! I am so close to finishing my first college class..I have a group project due on monday then a final on wed..then I am done.....So far I have an A..so unless I fail the next two things I will most likely continue with my A... I will be so glad when it is over...It is really time consuming and require hours and hours of work! I am really looking forward to Christmas..It is my favorite time of year...So far it has been a wondeful season.....I told Dave I want a digital camera for Christnas so soon I will have more pics to put up!!
