Yesterday we got a new pool for the kids....It is only three feet deep but it is perfect for them..Hunter can swim without his life jacket. We let them play in it while it was filling up..Alexis had her girlfriend Sabrina over and Nate was over too.

They came to visit us this week...Aspen is super cute and she sure looks like her daddy! We always love when they come to visit us! They are always so sweet to us! We were going to go swimming at Aunt Lisa's mom's but I had my wisdom teeth pulled so I wasn't feeling up to it. They were pretty bummed that they missed Blake and Becca by 1 week..They left today. They still haven't met Becca and they were dying to see the baby.



Cole was being his shy self and only peeked in to say hello and to spill water on gma's table twice..He missed the pictures.

Crazy Wednesday..

So yesterday was very interesting...First I made pancakes for breakfast, Then I talked to Becca for 2 hours(the only sane and happy part of my day) Then I make sandwiches to take to the Cameron Park Lake..We went on tuesday too,...Then Teri called and asked if Nate could come with us too...He needed to play and be a little boy after the on and off again wedding stuff..Anyway then she called back and said no he couldn't come because he needed to do some work around the house since Steve and his son Josh were coming to town....They never came..ANyway then she called back and asked if he could come with us again because while she was at the post office and about to mail the invitations when it was brought to her attention that she never put a time or a date on her invitations...SO she said she would be out all day remaking the invitations and not cleaning her house..ANyway Nate came with us..SO then we went to the lake with our kids, Nate and Lexi's friend Sabrina...We had a good time .....but then grandma calls and she is all upset because her dishwasher is broken and wanted us to come home because she was stressed......we told her we were still letting the kids swim and we still had to go to the store and get her perscription...Then we got the meds and went home about an hour later...We didn't get home till about seven and grandma said we better just have left overs because the dishawasher is broken..So we decide to get pizza...Then half hour later she asked us if we put the steaks on the grill?? (??what??) She is so crazy some times.....ANyway we eat and I give the kids a bath and get Dave's lunch ready for today...Then the kids get in bed and everyone is asleep except me..Then Dianne screams "Vanessa, Colton is coming up...He cut himself real bad" SO I throw on a robe and go down stairs..Colton walks in bleeding from the back on the neck...Yikes! He has his Karate belt wrapped around his neck to stop the bleeding...(Teri is not home yet and it is 10:30) So I make him take it off so I could see it..( I was tryin gto remain calm and I was hoping not to see spinal fluid leaking out). It looked like a pretty deep cut so I thought he needed stiches...I asked where their mom was and they said her phone is dead and she called from Kinkos 15 minutes ago and said she was leaving.....Well since I have history with Teri and kinkos I knew she would probably still be there even though she said she was leaving..Sure enough she was still there..I told her that she needed to meet me at the hospital because Colton got cut..(he cut the back on his neck with the dull side of a katana or samarai sword) She said okay..Now she is in Folsom so I figured she would beat me to the hospital because she is three blocks away and I am 20 minutes away..Also right before Colton came up I had a horrible allergy attack and I took 2 benedryl..( I think I am allergic to the jasmine outside our bedroom window) benedryl makes me real sleepy so as soon as Teri got there I was going to leave...Sadly we got there and triaged him and we were at the insurrance and parental consent form when she finally got there a full hour after we had been there! I left as soon as she showed up and made it home by 12:30...I fell right to sleep...Colton is fine....Thank God! He had to het 12 stiches..ewwww..So that was my wednesday! I hope today is better!
