Update

Three weeks ago Dave and Cole were wrestling..Dave hurt his knee and has been off work since...Well last week he saw an orthopedic Dr. and now Dave has to have knee surgery..It is on tuesday the 11..We are happy that there is a surgery to fix it..He tore his miniscus (not sure how to spell it) ...The Dr won't know how bad it is until he gets in there..It could be an easy fix with a recovery of 2 weeks or stitches inside his knee with a recovery of six weeks and crutches for awhile..Or it could be so bad that it might not be fixable! Yikes..Dave is so nervous..He has never had surgery before..They said they won't do it if he is sick..Well Thursday he started to get a cold and now it is a BAD chest cold with fever...We are hoping he will be better by tuesday because he really wants to go back to work..He is getting disability which is about $400 a week less that we are used to getting...Which adds up to $1600 out of our monthly budget..But without the expense og him traveling and gas it is really not too bad. It pays so much more than workman's comp or unemployment...It has been so nice having him home..I have been subbing alot and he has picked up the slack with carting the kids around and housework...I have never had so much help..He usually works so much out of town it is really nice to have another parent around..I am getting spoiled! The other day I came home from work and Hunter was done with his homework, Dave had done 3 loads of laundry, cleaned the windows, had my pumpink smelling candles going and was startin on dinner...It was PURE HEAVEN! Once he has his surgery though he will be pretty much couch bound for awhile which he HATES! If he has the six week recovery time I am going to secretly love it because he will be around for the holidays...We were so worried when he had to have all this time off and not making very much money but we are sure enjoying our time together...God is so good!! We are going to sell our Buick SUV becasue don't need it now that we have the suburban..We are just going to get an older carolla or something like that...That will save us so much monthly not to have that huge car payment..It is $150 more a month than the suburban...So pray that we sell that quick and that we can get a good deal..It is worth $9000 and we still owe $11500...But I think we maybe able to work something out..So that is all for now..Please pray for Dave's nasty chest cold to go away so he can be well for surgery on Tuesday!
